Hämeenkylän Kartano hotel

DESIGN CONCEPT:

This former dormitory building was converted into hotel accommodation. The building had not been in use for a long time, and its interior surfaces and building technology were in poor condition. The building is part of the hotel complex of the Hämeenkylä manor hotel in a culturally and historically significant area in Vantaa in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

The project involved demolishing practically all the existing partition walls and structures and building new standard-quality hotel accommodation. As the building had originally served as a stable, we wanted to create a warm and intimate character for the hotel.
